WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING / First two months

WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING - thru September 2016.

We’re been in Bali about two months. The first month we had two large groups of friends / family stay at our villa in Ubud. Great to see everyone. You do get a taste of the family dynamics when you see everyone most all day every day ... if you know what I mean. Seems like they sure enjoyed Bali, the younger people wanted to hurry up and DO EVERYTHING and us older people wanted to hang out, swim, get a little exercise and a massage and call it a day.

We went to a Cremation Ceremony, which is the biggest, most involved type of ceremony on Bali. It was colorful, interesting, and very crowded. The  people had spent weeks preparing and were dressed in their finery for DAYS of pageantry. We managed just a few hours in the heat and crowds.
